St Pete Beach Reef site is close to shore at 5.8 miles from Pass-A-Grille Channel Entrance and 7.5 miles from John’s Pass. The water depths here are in the 35 foot range.  In 1976 the old Corey Causeway became the first drop.  In 1984 a 200 foot barge was put down.

South County Reef site is 11.1 miles from John’s Pass and 18.5 miles from Clearwater Pass.  The water depths here are in the 45 foot range. Reef was started in 2001 consisting mainly of 700 tons of concrete rubble.  The site also has the 80’ long Tug “Orange which was sunk in 2003.

Treasure Island Reef site is close to shore at  5.3 miles from John’s Pass. The water depths here are in the 33 foot range.

Madeira Beach Reef site is 6.9 miles from John’s Pass and 14.1 miles from Clearwater Pass.  The water depths here are in the 32 foot range. Widely scattered material with 2’ profile and two high profile structures on the northwest corner.

Indian Shores Reef site is 13.5 miles from John’s Pass and 13.2 miles from Clearwater Pass.  The water depths here are in the 42 foot range. There are two WWII Navy Landing Ships and a salt hopper barge.  Each Landing ship is 200’ and filed with scrap cable.   In 1984 the 240‘ Salt Hopper barge was put down.  

Pinellas #2 Reef site is 21.8 miles from Clearwater Pass.  The water depths here are in the 80 foot range. This reef has the USCG Cutter Blackthorn and tug Sheridan and a steel barge.  This site is considered West Central Florida’s best wreck dive.  Grouper, snapper, amberjack and crevelle jack are often found here.
